Dr. McKenzie

Dr. Errol McKenzie earned his medical degree from Howard University in 1996. Dr. McKenzie received his first doctorate in podiatric medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. McKenzie went on to complete a general surgery internship at Yale University. Dr. McKenzie completed his post-graduate training in Family Medicine at SUNY Stony Brook in 2001.

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice.

Dr. McKenzie has garnered many accolades in his medical career including the Lloyd Cutler Award in 2001. Dr. McKenzie was included in Strathmore’s Who’s Who list in 2005 and in America’s Top Doctor listing in 2014.

Dr. McKenzie started his career at North Medical Family Physicians. After six years at North Medical Family Physicians, he provided care to the underserved at Syracuse Community Health Center. 

He founded Family Medicine Associates of Fayetteville over nine years ago and has been providing exemplary medical care to patients of all ages. Dr. McKenzie is a native of Jamaica West Indies and now calls Fayetteville his home with his wife, Dr Burgun, and their children.
